Flamenco y Tapas

Spain will this year combine their 2 great loves, flamenco and tapas. Lets be honest it is more a case of their act just eating all the tapas and then doing a bit of a dance. Some how the male dancers are able to lift them....another miracle for Mary MacKillop??

Viva L'italia

L'Italia will again appear at Eurovision song contest Coburg. They will return to the contest with pure and seductive voice of Jalisse. Bookies are rating their chance a victory as cosi cosi.

Ladies, bring a plate

With the success of the pre show BBQ, dinner well again feature heavily in the pre contest line up. With BBQ/meat supplied and the tradition interval 100% fat free Sticky Date, it's time for the delegate to show off their wares. If the audience would like to bring a small salad, antipasti or something sweet that would be most appreciated. Maybe this could be the beginning of Master Chef Coburg. BYO Alcohol and driver.

And the battle begins

This year's preparations are well under way, the songs have been composed, the singers decided and the frocks have hit the Janome. Again organisers claim that this will be the biggest and best Eurovision Coburg of all time, but really if the organisers claim it's going to be crap...get new organisers. The usual suspects are rumoured to be in the line up, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, France with a return appearance of 2 long time no shows to the contest.

Greece is a winner on the bed!

It's official the winner of Eurovision song contest Coburg 2008 is Greece. The neck and neck battle between Greece and Israel was finally decided when Israel kamikazed and awarded Greece douze points. Thus making the tally board read Israel 101 points and Greece 112 points. Some critics declared that this year's contest had nothing to do with the songs and was a competition between boobs and buns. Adding fuel to this speculation was the fact one audience member was more interested in putting the Greek entry "on the bed" than the actual competition. Sakis was thrilled with the victory as it is much better than any result he has ever got in the real contest.
